The DA in Witzenberg welcomes Piet Boer, Deputy Chairperson of the FF+ branch in Tulbagh, who has joined the DA, alongside fellow FF+ members. See photo here.
This follows last week’s walk over in Witzenberg where several members from the FF+ and PA ditched their former parties to join the DA.
We warmly embrace the arrival of Mr. Boer and those who have followed his path to the DA. We value their willingness to work with us and drive the interest of the people of Tulbagh and the wider Witzenberg community as we campaign toward a DA majority on 4 November.
Our focus remains on building stronger communities, listening to residents and working together to improve the lives of the people we serve.
We are encouraged by everyone who is willing to contribute their time and commitment to serving our communities. We look forward to working alongside our new members as we continue building our structures in Witzenberg.
Every vote that consolidates behind the DA brings Witzenberg closer to an outright majority government that can focus on the needs of residents instead of the demands of coalition partners.
Residents in Witzenberg can ill-afford another five years of unstable coalition politics. What they need and deserve is a strong DA government that prioritises delivery over self-interests.
A DA majority will better service delivery, attract investment and create an environment in which businesses can grow and jobs can be created.
